A pilot project focused on the transition from Primary to Secondary school, created by Angus Council Vibrant Communities Team in partnership with Arbroath Academy and local Primary schools. 

The project included a series of workshops led by drama specialist and teacher Abbey Craig, that culminated in a performance for families, friends and teachers.

As part of a new ‘stepping- up’ programme, Abbey Craig worked with primary 7’s and 1st year secondary pupils to co-create a show. ‘Game Changer, the 721 Game show’ was devised from drama-based sessions that focussed on the social and emotional side of the step-up process. The young people designed the posters, co-wrote, stage- managed and performed live. The show was interwoven with comedic short films that were filmed in and around Arbroath and involved the wider community and each primary school.
